Global Accounts External Salesperson
Berkshire based IT Vendor

Salary circa £85 to 100K split 60/40, over-riders and no cap on earnings, car allowance, pension, health benefits, blue chip.

Starting Date: Two immediate vacancies for this quarter, headcount signed off.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned multi-national global accounts.
  • Develop partnerships.
  • Coordinate sales, sales operations and technical support teams at a regional level.
  • Increase account penetration, customer satisfaction and sales growth for long term results.

Requirements:

Must live within 1 hour of Berkshire– as office attendance is required 2/3 times per week.

Degree qualification pre-requisite as evidence of intellectual horsepower.

4-6 years proven track record of complex face to face selling skills.

Age range is 28 to 36y.o., eager, clever, graduate, enthusiastic, gravitas, team player.

Previous experience of selling within the IT market preferred.

Proven success in managing complex customers across geographies preferred.

Comprehensive written and English verbal and presentation skill sets, totally IT literate.

People Management skills:

Generate a positive team environment in the account team and provide strong regional leadership.

Agree and share realistic account objectives that should be regularly reviewed.

Provide support and mentoring to help achieve the best from the account team.

Take every opportunity to acknowledge success/outstanding commitment within both the account team and extended team, and share examples of best practice.

Drive the team to meet and exceed targets and objectives.

Ensure that your account team is well regarded by those groups who support them e.g. Finance, Opportunity Management (Bid Team), Central Purchasing Facility, other regions etc.
